Children’s Liturgy
Children’s Liturgy takes place at the 11 am Mass on Sundays. Children will celebrate the Liturgy of the Word at a child’s level. Leaders follow the outline of Mass to help them get to know the format of the liturgy: an opening prayer, 1st reading, gospel reading, discussion, profession of faith, prayers of the faithful, and a closing prayer. Children at times will receive handouts or activities for parents to share with their family at home. All children are welcome and curious parents too. There is no need to sign up in advance. The presiding priest will invite children to attend Children’s liturgy at the beginning of Mass. Children will return to the Mass before the Liturgy of the Eucharist begins.
