Easter Message
"This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad!"
(Psalm 118:24).
The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which we celebrate at
Easter, brings new life to the Church and cheers the people of God,
who sing a new song to the Lord.
Easter is a day of celebration because it represents the fulfillment of
our faith as Christians. St. Paul wrote that, unless Christ rose from
the dead, our faith is in vain (1 Corinthians 15:17). Through his death,
Christ saved us all from bondage to sin, and He destroyed the hold
that death has on all of us; but it is His Resurrection that gives us the
promise of new life, both in this world and the next.
Nothing is beyond God’s power to do the impossible. God loves you
and has a purpose for all of us. There is hope and future for
everyone. Let us continue to live with this hope and live and spread
the gospel message of love, peace and joy everyday. We are Easter
people and Alleluia is our song.
Wishing you all our families in St. Isidore parish a glorious
Easter. May the peace of the risen Christ fill your heart with Joy.
