Despite enormous snow banks, volunteers have been dedicated to visiting fellow parishioners to complete Phase 1 of the Building Fund Campaign before March 19th - Easter weekend.
Special thanks to all who have generously donated, pledged and canvassed. The plan is to eventually contact all parishioners, however, we started with a list of 300 families for Phase 1. While we are waiting to hear back from some who have been too busy to schedule a visit or who have been enjoying a warmer climate - we are very excited with the progress to date.
Building Fund as of March 16, 2008:
We now have $524,622. in the bank and $402,169 pledged over the next 3-5 years, which brings the building fund total to $926,791.
Our goal is $3.5 million. We need more than 50% of that goal in the bank before we can begin construction and to avoid large debt.
If you haven't already done so, consider making St. Isidore Church your major charity for the next 3-5 years! Donations are tax deductible and your generous support will ensure a new worship space for our parish family.
Special thanks to Deacon Armando who is tabulating in-coming gifts and preparing receipts.
