After years of planning, we are finally embarking on a Major Fundraising Campaign to build our new church.
The hope is to personally contact 'all' parishioners. We are starting with 300 families in our first round of visits and will work up the list until we reach our Campaign goal. You can help! If you are not registered in St. Isidore parish, please complete a registration form (available at the church or gym). As a member of St. Isidore Church, we hope that you will feel better acquainted with what our rural-urban parish has to offer.
For over 5 years, you may have attended mass at All Saints School or found it increasingly difficult to find a seat at mass in the church. We need to gather under one roof in a larger, family-friendly facility and to unite our parish in a new building at 1135 March Rd., where St. Isidore Church still stands after 120 years.
We must build as soon as possible! 'Doing nothing' is not an option as our old church requires extensive repairs and money would be spent on a building that is still too small for our rapidly growing community.
Our Campaign goal is $3.2 million. Yes - that's a lot of money! Yet, it's less than half the cost of expanding the old church. We have approximately $330,000. in the bank and no debt. We need more than 50% of our goal in the bank (or in committed pledges) before we can begin construction and to avoid large debt.
Fundraising progress reports will be posted in the church, bulletin and at: http://www.stisidorekanata.com/
Consider making St. Isidore Church your major charity for the next 3-5 years!
Please welcome the volunteer who will be calling on you to make a pledge to our Campaign.
Your donation is tax deductible and your generous support will help ensure a new worship space for you, your parish family and for the generations of parish families to come.
